Christy began her medicinal journey several years ago. First attending nursing school, learning medical protocols. Then after her mother, Sue, owner of Sue’s Super Nutrition, opened a Health Food Store, a mentor and Naturopath held a "Master Herbalist" program. From then on, Christy’s knowledge and love for herbs began. In 97’ she enrolled at Clayton College of Natural Health earning a "Doctor of Naturopathy" degree. Soon Christy will complete her Ph.D. in Natural Health and an Herbalist course with Dr. Tieraona Low Dog, Medical Doctor & Herbalist. She is the head of Complementary & Alternative Medicine board, appointed by President Clinton. Her program has enabled Dr. Christy knowledge regarding herb drug interactions & contraindications and indepth learning about herbs & there uses.

In 98’ after earning, BS in Natural Health, Christy opened a private naturopathic clinic, "Taylor Made Herbs and Aromatherapy". Her practice has now grown to over 600 clients in 11 years. Her Naturopathic practice consists of using Herbs, Homeopathy, Nutritional Supplements, Nutrition, Aromatherapy, Massage therapy, Accupressure, Kinesology, Iridology, and Hair Analysis as a means for rejuvenating your health. She specializes in Babies, Children’s issues, ADD/ADHD, Autism, Alternatives to Vaccinations (Homeopathic Nosodes or Immunizations), Women’s Health, PMS, Natural Hormones, Cholesterol, High Blood Pressure, Cancer, Diabeties, Menopause, Fibriod Tumors, Endometriosis, Infertility, and advanced diseases.

Also, as a part of "Taylor Made Herbs and Aromatherapy aka Taylor Made Organics", she offers a variety of products to our community including, herbal healing salves, therapeutic professional aromatherapy herbal creams, natural organic facial and skin care, bath & body care, hair care, colloidal silver, natural bar soap, customed blends, wholesale, private labeling, professional back bar, herbal apprenticeship program, and many other unique items.

She has studied with numerous people such as, Medical and Naturopathic Doctor’s, Medical Herbalist, Aromatherapy Practitioners, Mid-wives, Nutritional Consultants, and Iridologist’s, including, Dr. Tieraona Low Dog, MD, AHG, David Hoffman AHG F.I.N.H., David Winston AHG, Dr. John Christopher N.D, Rosemary Gladstar, Mary Bove N.D and Midwife, Master Herbalist, Steve Shapiro (Iridologist), and many others.

Christy has lectured for several organizations and as a Key Note Speaker at JMU Nursing Department, Harrisonburg Ruitain Clubs, Dayton Learning Center, Church organizations, Women’s’ Auxiliary, Dave Foreman, and other health conferences.

Christy is a recognized and participates with David Foreman of the radio show, "The Herbal Pharmacist". David and Christy have teamed up to inform the Harrisonburg/Staunton/Waynesboro and Richmond area about "Natural Health".
