Sugar cane produces glycolic acid, one of the natural alpha hydroxy acids that exfoliates the skin.
For the best results, use a sugar scrub while taking a shower. After rinsing skin with a body wash, use a sugar scrub to exfoliate and condition the body. Scoop some of the scrub onto your hand and massage gently onto your skin for a minute (the scrub will actually tighten onto your skin like a masque). Leave on for 3 to 4 minutes before rinsing. Use on whole body. Avoid eye and private area. Please be careful when using in a tub because it will cause it to become slick.
