Jewelry from Beauty of Hope "About Beauty of Hope"
My name is Kara Friesen and I grew up in Ohio with my parents and three brothers. Those in my family always have tended to lean toward the creative, mostly musically but also with our individual projects of one sort or another. I've always been a little bit scattered with the completion of an artistic work, but last year I started making jewelry and found that this area held my attention. I find myself thinking of different designs at the most inappropriate times and have a constant desire to work on them.
As my life has unfolded in the last decade, I now live in Harrisonburg, VA with a wonderful, loving husband, a nursing degree, and an illness that leaves me unable to work outside the home; fibromyalgia. This disease has taken a lot from me financially, emotionally, spiritually and most of all physically. However, feeling the need to fill some of my healthy hours with productivity, I am now turning my efforts toward the arts. I have many ideas and dreams for where this could go, but for now I will just say this: I have hope. Hope to see the beauty around me more than the pain... and the hope that, if even in the simplest of ways I am able to help others feel beautiful and special... just as you most assuredly are."
Have a wonderful Month May God bless you on your new journey! He is a faithful God. Recently some friends of mine & I went to the Extraordinary Women's Conference. We were blessed to meet several artists including Natalie Grant, guest speakers such as Karen Kingsbury, and Candice Cameron Bure.
Candice Cameron Bure caught my attention with her extraordinary adventure to God. Her brother Kirk Cameron was already a believer and she too became interested in what was changing in his life for the better.
This change can happen to you if you let Christ into your life. Wonderful heart wrenching changes. Believe me I know. I am not perfect and I am a sinner, but if you turn your life over to Christ not only will he forgive your sins, but you too my friends can have Eternal Life.
How do I do this? Pray this prayer with me...
Dear Lord,
I come before you today to admit I am a sinner. I want you, Jesus to come into my life as my Lord and Savior. Change my heart, mind, and attitude to become like yours. Teach me your ways as I read it in the Bible. Help me to understand the passages. Let the Holy Spirit now descend upon me and guide me into the path of righteousness and lead me on your mission & guide the purpose for my life. Lord you are my Savior and I love you.
I believe if you prayed this You are Saved. Now go and find a church and commit yourself to Christ and his work. May God enrich your life forever.
