Recently God lead me into a new direction/path that I never thought about. My best friend and I were having dinner and she invited me to a Children's Church meeting the next night. I said ok, but was not really interested in helping with "Children's Church" or the ministry.
So I went with her the next day. We sat down and started talking about our Vision for our church and the children's ministry. Of course I remember events that my Sunday School teacher done with us and gave those ideas.
As our co-pastor "Rose" was writing down all the events we came up with she then said, "Who would like to plan and lead these events." Well I sat there for a little while and then out of no where God said to me and then blurted it out, "I'll take care of it." Remember I had no plans to help out, just give my opinion. Then my best friend states she would not be able to teach Children's Church for a little while, because of family events. I immediately said, "My husband and I will take over her classes." Now where is this coming from?
After leaving the Children's Ministry group, I thought, "What have I done?" But God new! By his Grace, Mercy, and Love he has shown me a new light and a new door!
As our Children's Ministry is growing, I am learning. God has taught me to be "Like a Child". I always wondered, how could I be like a child when I have so many responsiblities? Like, running a business, taking care of my family, serving God, and all the other top hats that I have?
He has shown me how to become like a child. As we are all sinners, God has taken my like into a new direction! I am proud to help the Children's Ministry, Youth Missions, and Youth Events for Missions.
