As you all know the movie "FireProof" released this week, just in time for Valentine's Day!
If you have not watch this movie, don't rent it, buy it. I have personally learned numerous lessons in regards to marriage and friendships. But are you up to the "Love Dare"?
From the makers of "Facing The Giants" Alex Kenrick and his brother Stephen directed and wrote, "FireProof". This inspiring movie is God based. When you get time look at the "Making of the Movie". God is totally portrayed in ALL aspects, from praying before making the movie, when God spoke to him about the movie, praying before shooting, praying each day of shooting, middle of the day prayer, and ending everyday with prayer. You cannot tell me that God didn't have a hand in this one!
Kirk Cameron plays "Caleb", a firefighter whose marriage is about to end if he doesn't do something about it. So what does he do? How does he handle it? Who helps him?
I will state this one important detail. As Caleb was going on about how his wife naggs, doesn't obey him, and more, Calebs father says "Son, God has been trying with you and you have been doing the same things, but he still keeps trying and loves you no matter what." If you cannot love yourself and love God, how can you love another human being or anything?

Take the Love Dare challenge with me. Many have done it before us. No marriage is perfect, no relationship is perfect, but with God's knowledge we can try to make it perfect. Don't you want to be remembered for your love and kindness. Why fight, yell, and curse the one you love. Why not have that desire and love for him/her as you did when you first met?
