Count your blessings!

I am truly grateful for my family and friends. This time of the year we can become aggrivated and aggitated. But if we really remember WHY we got together, that can change the way we feel. Thanksgiving is a time to be thankful for our family, friends and everyone in this world. I personally enjoy just getting together and talking to my loved ones and not feeling rushed to go here or there. I can set down and have a cup of tea and fellowship.

Recently I was in a car accident. I was driving down the road and a deer about 200lbs came out of nowhere. It hit the front of my Sienna Mini Van and toally messed it up. I am thankful that my husband who was turned around at the time didn't fly out the window when I stopped abruptly . I am thankful I still have him in my life and give thanks to God for keeping us all safe during a tragic time. Unfortunately my van was hit hard and the tow truck had to take it to the auto body repair.

I was very upset, because this was my first accident and I just got my Sienna van 1 year ago brand new. But God was still blessing me. A couple from our church lived just down the road where the accident happened. They helped us with the situation and his son-in-law took us home. So where do I take it to be repaired? I never had to deal with REPAIRS, because my father owned an Auto Body & Mechanic shop. So I didn't know where to take it. Brian, who took us home and goes to our church says, "My father owns an Auto Collison repair shop, he can do the work." It was Gods blessing. Even though we were in a time of despair, God helped us through it all.

The deer, after I hit it, got up and took off into the corn field, never to be found. I pray that God repaired him after a hard hit.

So count your blessing! My husband had just got off the phone with his sister 5 MINUTES before the accident. When he call her back to tell her we were in an accident, she said "I just off the phone with you. Your kidding right?". Things can happen in just seconds, minutes, even hours after talking to your loved ones. It can happen to any of us. My aunt always tells me that we have a divine appointment with the Lord, we just don't know when.

Be thankful for your loved ones. Don't fuss about getting together, being to far away, traveling, the meal, family feuds, or other SENSLOUS things. BE THANKFUL. We don't know what's going to happen. Repent and come to the Lord while you have a chance. If you are interested accepting Christ, please email or call me and I will speak with you and mail you information about becoming saved.
