Taylor Made Herbs and Aromatherapy doing business as Taylor Made Organics started in 1997, by Christy Teter, Naturopath (Clayton College of Natural Health) , Master Herbalist, Bachelor and Master Degree in Natural Health, and Aromatherapist in the heart of Port Republic, Virginia (close to Skyline Drive and the Blue Ridge Mountains).
How Taylor Made Organics got started....
Christy started dabbling in natural oils, pure essential oils, herbal extracts in her kitchen in 1997. Experiments let her to make the "Herbal Skin Salve", that became the root for "Taylor Made Organics". After having great results, healing a wide variety of skin issues, she started making other natural chemical free organic products. A few years later, with the demand of paraben, sulfate and toxic free skin care grew, Christy expanded her line with creams, facial care, hair care, bath and body care, bar soap, and more.
It has grown to over 150 organic skin care products (without adding parabens, propylene glycol (DPG), EDTA, sodium laureth sulphates, drying alcohol (SD), lanolin, harsh detergents, formaldehyde, artificial ingredients, wheat, gluten, yeast, and preservative free, and other harmful additives). Our products are Enviromental and Ecologically safe, smoke free and pet free office, and vegan and cruelty free so they are never tested on animals.
Christy is currently finishing up a program with Dr. Tieraona Low Dog, M.D, AHG, Medical Herbalist, who is the President of Complementary and Alternative Medicine board, appointed by President Clinton.
